Build your own day bed with trundle, Measure the underside of your divan. Remember the trundle bed will be about 8 inches in height and about 6 meters in length. Adjust measurements accordingly if necessary. Use tape measure and pencil to mark the required measurements on lumber yours. Take 4 “x 8” pine and cut two 6 foot lengths of the sides of the roll. Cut the remaining 4 “x 8” in two end pieces of rolling. Cut 2 “x 4” s to 6-foot lengths to be used as support for trundle. Cut all lumber with circular saw.

Stand the two long pieces of rolling on their sides. Assemble the short pieces on the ends. Use drill to add two screws in each joint to fasten them together. Line them up on the long sides of the frame on its pages. Use drill and wood screws to secure the support of the sides of the roll. Turn the frame over. Turn one wheel in each of the four holes. Flip the bed frame back over. Paint or stain on the day bed with trundle as desired. Let it dry completely before inserting plywood support and mattress. Measure from the ends of the bed to ensure you consistently put drawer pulls.
